About Our Housing

LALC housing is subsidised housing provided to low-income Aboriginal families/people.

The Land Council manages a portfolio of 74 Social housing properties varying in size from 2 to 5 bedrooms. These properties are located at various locations within the Land Council boundaries. You must be a member of KLALC to be eligible to apply for our housing and once your application is approved you will be placed on our housing waiting list.

Please note: If you are already in a Department of Housing property you are ineligible for our social housing program.

If you are one of our housing tenants and require maintenance on your property, please email your maintenance request via Kempsey LJ Hooker website or call our property manager on 02 6563 7555 at your earliest convenience.
